About

“He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less” – John 3:30
My name is Joshua, and I live in the Fed Hill neighborhood of Baltimore. My life is centered on Jesus, and a lot of my time is spent serving in church life: Bible studies, ministries to nursing home residents and those recovering from addiction, mission trips, and building community with people from all ages and walks of life.
Outside of that, I love being on or near the water. Boating, kayaking, paddle-boarding, swimming, hiking, long walks through the city, and quiet retreats on the Chesapeake all recharge me. I also enjoy reading, writing, photography, staying active, and studying Scripture deeply.
I work as a Communications Director for a homeless ministry, am the author of several unfinished books, consider myself an on-demand A.I. boat mechanic, and am also a part-time Bible college student. But more than titles or accomplishments, relationships are what matter most to me. My friendships tend to be deep, loyal, lifelong, and full of laughter.
I genuinely love the city I live in, its harbor, old architecture, neighborhoods, history, and character. One of my favorite things is gathering people together. Hospitality is important to me, and I love creating spaces where people feel welcomed, seen, and included, whether it’s a dinner with close friends or inviting someone new into the fold.
I come from a fun, loving family, and I’m grateful for the life God has given me. I’d describe myself as loyal, easygoing, adventurous, and able to find humor in almost anything. I care deeply, commit fully, and try to live with gratitude and intentionality.
I hope to meet someone who loves God deeply, values community and authenticity, and wants to build a meaningful, joy-filled life together: something lasting, rooted in faith, love, humor, and shared adventure.
