Our plane almost went down over the Sahara as we flew from Ghana to London. Just after the flight attendants had went through the cabin serving tea and coffee the aircraft experienced massive turbulence somewhere over Mali. Jolting up and down and from side to side we gripped our arm rests and held our breath. People all around us were gasping and spilling tea, throwing up into bags. Out of the hundreds of flights I had been on this was by far the most extreme turbulence. Outside looked like a sandstorm, the clouds rustic tinted from the massive desert below. Resurrection!

After a summer of sitting dormant, collecting dust and low web traffic numbers, I’m reviving my blog! Yes, it’s been far too long and my busyness can no longer be an excuse for not updating. The last few months have been extraordinarily crazy, from two cross country road-trips, an unforgettable adventure in Africa, the tragic loss of a once dear friend and the emotional turmoil that has accompanied it, to surviving a tornado in Nebraska, taking the best shower I ever took at Heathrow airport in London after a nine hour flight, moving into a beach front apartment in New Jersey with some best friends, and of course, launching the media empire I told all of you that I would launch, Infinity News Network – which came to life on May 1 at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas. who’s really in control?

Doesn’t it seem that before the debates even started we knew Romney was going to be the GOP candidate for President?  There were ups and downs, the rise and fall of other candidates like Rick Perry and Herman Cain but it seemed like it was only a matter of time before the inevitable happened.  Is this really what we think it is or are we being molded to think a certain way?  Are we really the ones deciding or has this been decided for us?  Dare I say the media chose Mitt Romney to win the GOP Presidential nominee so he could lose against Obama?
