Resurrection!

After a summer of sitting dormant, collecting dust and low web traffic numbers, I’m reviving my blog! Yes, it’s been far too long and my busyness can no longer be an excuse for not updating. The last few months have been extraordinarily crazy, from two cross country road-trips, an unforgettable adventure in Africa, the tragic loss of a once dear friend and the emotional turmoil that has accompanied it, to surviving a tornado in Nebraska, taking the best shower I ever took at Heathrow airport in London after a nine hour flight, moving into a beach front apartment in New Jersey with some best friends, and of course, launching the media empire I told all of you that I would launch, Infinity News Network – which came to life on May 1 at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas. a holiday from real

As one of Peter Pan’s Lost Boys, it would only make sense that I would escape turning another year older by a few hours.  Besides, there’s no place I rather spend my birthday than a beautiful coast that is both warm and sunny.. for me: uncharted territory and experience.. something fresh.

After weeks and weeks of endless rain and dreary depressing weather, I’m escaping this coast and heading to the other, down and to the left.

I had a very special feeling the first time I visited Los Angeles.  There was a clear unprecedented sentiment that swept over me and I couldn’t deny this rather unexpected sensational connection.   Continue reading “a holiday from real” »

there are adventurers

and there are lifers.  And I could never be a lifer.  Maybe it’s because I have traveled and lived on my own in new places but I would like to think it’s something that’s always been a part of me, embedded deep inside my being, a yearning to explore, to journey beyond where I have been or what I know, to expand my reach and to be totally free, unhindered by any kind of restriction.  This has always been the essence of who I naturally am. 

Nothing troubles me and annoys me more than being stagnant and content, safely comfortable.  There is a whole world out there with millions of opportunities, places to see and be a part of, people to meet, connections to make, roads to memorize, stories to hear and discover and live out.

I knew early on what my passion was.  I never bought into that whole American dream nightmare of just going to school to get a job that pays money so you can support a family and then retire.  My adventurous spirit craves more. Continue reading “there are adventurers” »
